The second major cultural programme organized by the Ramakrishna Mission, New Delhi, as part of the 150th Birthday celebrations was Sagun and Nirgun Sahagaan in Kumar Gandharvaji’s tradition (in Hindustani vocal classical  music). Sushri  Kalapini Komkali is the daughter and disciple of renowned Shri Kumar Gandharvji. Following the Gwalior gharana of Hindustani classical music, she and her mother, Vidushi Smt. Vasudhara Komkali, rendered many classical pieces at the Vivekananda Auditorium, Ramakrishna Mission, Delhi.  on Sunday, the 10th April, 2011 at 6.00 p.m.  The performance commenced at 6.05 p.m. with the mother-daughter duo doing the Sagun and Nirgun Sahagaan in the best classical mode.

The performance lasted  about 2 hours and 30 minutes. At the end  of the performance, Shantatmanandaji Maharaj spoke a few words highly appreciating the marvelous performance by both the vocal artists and presented mementos to them and their accompanying artists.

The programme was over by 8.30 p.m.   Many people attended this Sagun and Nirgun Sahagaan and appreciated it very much.
