[vc_row][vc_column width=”3/4″][vc_column_text]Sri Sri Durga Puja was celebrated with due solemnity in the Temple of the Ramakrishna Mission, New Delhi, on Sunday, the 9th October, 2016. Mangalarati began at 5.00 a.m. on the Mahastami day in the Temple. Chanting of Devi Mahatmyam (also known as the Chandi or Durga Saptashati) was done in the Temple on Saptami, Ashtami and Navami by all devotees present there led by Revered Swami Shantatmanandaji Maharaj.

On Asthami day, a special Homa was performed by Br. Madhurachaitanya assisted by Revered Swami Amritapurnanandaji Maharaj as Tantradharak. After arati, all the devotees offered pranams to Sri Sri Thakur, Ma and Swamiji and also Mother Durga.

Nearly 1200 took prasad and many partook of Kichuri prasad distribution till mid-noon.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]A few photos from this occasion:
