Sub: Music Classes
We are glad to inform you that we propose to commence Music Classes at the Mission premises w.e.f December 1, 2023 the details of which are given below:
Courses offered: Hindustani Classical & Semi-Classical Vocal Music (covering basic Ragas, knowledge of Taalas and theory of Music) including Khayal, Bhajans (Hindi), Devotional Songs(Bengali) especially those sung at Ramakrishna Mission centres, Rahpradhan, Kirtan, Shyamasangeet and Patriotic Songs etc.
Duration of course: 1 year each for both pre-primary and primary levels, however crash course of one month will also be imparted.
(Classes will be held in groups of maximum 15 students)
Minimum age limit: 10 years (no upper age limit)
Previous knowledge: Not required
Medium of instruction: Hindi and/or Bengali
Fees: Rs. 700 + Applicable GST (Admission Fee of Rs. 100 + GST) per student will also be charged)
Faculty: Experienced Teachers
Venue: Ramakrishna Mission, Ramakrishna Ashrama Marg, Paharganj, New Delhi-110055
Days: Tuesday and Sunday
Duration of class : 1 hour
Timing : 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm
