[vc_row][vc_column width=”3/4″][vc_column_text]The 155th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda (Swami Vivekananda Jayanti) was celebrated at Ramakrishna Mission, Delhi with solemnity on 8th January 2018. A special worship of Swamiji, Vedic Chanting, Bhajans, Havan and devotional singing marked this special occasion. Rev. Secretary Maharaj also rendered a few devotional songs.
The day started with Sehnai recital (on audio cassette) when the gates of the temple were opened for devotees. At 5.00 a.m. with the blowing of the conch shell, the mangalarati started. After the arati was over, the vedic chanting was done by monastics of the Order.
The Puja was done by Swami Tadbhasananda. Chandipath was simultaneously done by Swami Dhruvarupananda (Manavendra Maharaj) at the Shayan Ghar of Sri Sri Thakur and Ma in the Temple.
After Arati, all the devotees offered pranams to Sri Sri Thakur, Ma and Swamiji, and partook of the cooked Prasad.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Video Recording of the speech:
