[vc_row][vc_column width=”3/4″][vc_column_text]The Ramakrishna Mission, New Delhi, organized a Spiritual Retreat (Bhakta Sammelan) in the Mission premises on Sunday, 11th February 2018.
For this Bhakta Sammelan, Swami Raghavendranandaji, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Gwalior, and Swami Nirvikaranandaji, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Indore, were specially invited to speak on the subject, “Happiness (Sukh)”.
The programme began with singing of Bhajans (Bhavasagar o….) led by Swami Dhruvarupanandaji and Shri Bishnu Murari Chatterjee accompanied on Tabla by Sh. Siddharth Bhattacharya, on Manjira Sh. Ramesh Dwivedi. This was followed by a meditation session conducted by Rev. Secretary Maharaj.
There was Gita chanting led by Swami Vedapriyanandaji Maharaj and Swami Dhruvarupanandaji Maharaj, Br. Amurtachaitanyaji Maharaj and Sh. Champak Chatterjee and on Sitar accompanied by Sh. Madhu Murari Chatterjee.
Revered Swami Jyotirupanandaji Maharaj, Minister Incharge Ramakrishna Society Vedanata Centre Moscow also Spoke on the subject.
After the speeches were over, the devotees attended Aratrikam in the Vivekananda hall itself led by Swami Tadbhasanandaji Maharaj. “Khandanabhava bandhana…… ” was led by Swami Dhruvarupanandaji Maharaj accompanied by Shri Siddharth Bhattacharya on tabla and Sri Champak Chatterjee on manjira.
After Aratrikam all the delegates were served lunch, prepared in the Ashram by volunteers and staff consisting of Rice, Dal, two Sabjis, fryams, curd, Chutney and a Rajbhog. For serving lunch to devotees, pandals had been erected on both the lawns, one for male devotees and the other for female devotees. Serving of lunch was done in a very smooth and disciplined manner by the volunteers and it was finished in half-an-hour. All the items were very tasty and they were appreciated by one and all.
The afternoon session started with the singing of a few devotional songs by Shri Rajgopal Pramanik and accompanied by Shri Swedesh Chakraborty on Tabla and Shri Bikas Bose on Manjira. Later Shri Bishnu Murari Chatterjee rendered some more devotional songs accompanied by Shri Siddharth Bhattacharya on tabla, Shri Bikas Bose and Shri Ramesh Dwivedi on manjira.
This bhajan programme was followed by an interesting Question-Answer session. This was followed by the singing of “Ramakrishna Sharanam” in chorus by all delegates led by Shri Champak Chatterjee accompanied by Shri Siddharth Bhattacharya on tabla, and Shri Ramesh Dwivedi on manjira.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Video Recording of Sammelan:
