The National Resource Center for Value Education in Engineering at IIT D joined the rest of the country in commemorating the occasion by organizing the first discussion meeting of the Study Circle on 30th September, 2011.
The discussions were based on ‘The Future of India’, a lecture by Swami Vivekananda, from the Book ‘Lectures from Colombo to Almora’. More than 60 Students from IIT attended and interacted. Swami Shantatmanandaji, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission graced the launch as well as the first discussions.
The members of the study circle accompanied by some professors also visited the exhibition of Swami Vivekananda when the train carrying the exhibits visited and halted at various Railway stations in Delhi, in the month of October, 2011.
