[vc_row][vc_column width=”3/4″][vc_column_text]Sri Sri Kali Puja was celebrated at the Ramakrishna Mission, New Delhi on the night of Tuesday, the 6th November 2018. A beautifully decorated image of Mother Kali was worshiped throughout the whole night and the Puja ended at dawn. Revered Swami Shantatmanandaji Maharaj, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Delhi performed the worship, with Swami Kapilanandaji Maharaj as the assisting Tantradharak.
The singing of devotional hymns and bhajans to Mother Kali were rendered throughout the Puja in the night. Kali kirtans were sung in by Swami Dhruvarupanandaji Maharaj, Swami Geeteshanandaji Maharaj (Manoj Maharaj) from Ramakrishna Mission, Shimla, Shri Champak Chatterjee, accompanied by Shri Siddhartha Bhattacharya on Tabla and Pakhawaj, Madhumurari Chattopadhyay on Tabla, and Mr. Roland Drogemuller Pakhawaj (who also accompanied on Tabla and Pakhawaj for all other subsequent singers), and devotional songs were rendered by them throughout the Puja in the night.
At dawn, a Homa was performed. The Puja was completed in the morning hours of 7th November 2018. After the morning Mangalarati of Sri Ramakrishna, all the devotees were invited to take Prasad.
For the immersion ceremony, the image of Mother Kali was slowly moved out of the temple. All sadhus, brahmacharins and devotees bowed to Mother Kali and bade Her goodbye with the loud rendering of ‘Kali Mayee ki Jai’.
