Over the centuries, Sufiana Qalam – a musical tradition of Islamic mysticism has kept alive the transcendental experiences of many Sufi mystics. Janab Mir Muktiyar Ali represents the 26th generation of the Mirasi lineage which has preserved the heritage of Sufiana Qalam. He also sings Rajasthani folk music and Kabir.
Janab Mir Mukhtiyar Ali performed at the Vivekananda Auditorium, Ramakrishna Mission, Delhi on 28th October, 2012. With his unique blend of Rajastani folk, Kabir and Sufi Music, he dazzled the assembled audience. Here is the audio recording of the evening.
