Ramakrishna Mission, Delhi conducted a three day State Level Youth Convention- ‘Awakening the Youth Power‘ from 18 – 20 October 2013.
During a session titled ‘Restoring India’s Glory: Role of Youth Leaders (भारतीय गरिमा की पुनः स्थापना – युवा नेताओं की भूमिका)‘ on the third day (20 Oct 2013), Dr. Trilochan Sastry, Professor at Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, spoke on ‘Role of youth in Education‘.
Dr. Trilochan Sastry is currently a professor at Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIMB). He has served there as Dean of Academics during 2008-11. He obtained his B.Tech from IIT Delhi, PGDM from the IIM Ahmedabad and PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He has served as a faculty member at IIM Ahmedabad. He has received the Satyendra K Dubey Memorial Award from IIT Kanpur, Times of India Social Impact Award and Distinguished Alumnus Award from IIT Delhi.
